The museum consists of four major departments: the exhibit, the educational, the service and the research departments.
The museum’s main public attractions include the exhibits, the museum’s restaurant, the museum gift shop, library and the special exhibit hall.
You can even have a first hand experience at fossil discovery.

The museum also has special educational arrangements, which are held in the museum’s lecture hall, guidance room, seminar room, and laboratory. These facilities are only available to those who sign up for them in advance or to primary and secondary school students as extracurricular lessons.

The last one, the research department is, unfortunately, a restricted area, that only museum staff and other authorized researchers have access to. This department holds all of the museum’s geological and fossil related research facilities, such as its offices, small staff laboratories, a research library, larger and better equipped laboratories, the museum computer server room and a huge collection storage room.
